Setup Schedule: Development
You use the Development tab to create development resources and assign them to the headings. The resources you create are listed in the Resources pane.
You must use the Development tab when you are scheduling development headings. To create a schedule that includes development headings you must:
- create at least one resource
- set its capacity
- assign the resource to the headings
The Development tab contains three data grids, the Development rates data grid, the Resource capacities data grid, and the Location constraints data grid.You use the data grids to create resources, specify resource capacity, assign resources to headings, specify resource rates, and optionally specify development rate parameters and define overall location constraints.
When you assign the resources to headings, you can use the 3D Canvas to select the headings. The data grids change to display the information relevant to the heading that is selected in the 3D Canvas.
